Your game should open up now for those three days. Then start the game application from the Steam Library.
(My note: This may have been from restarting the computer.)įor anyone having issues playing the Free Trial, exit out of Origins completely after EA forces you to link your Origins and Steam account. Like I said, I am unsure as to why mine started working when I'd changed nothing, but if you you still have issues, please try one of the suggestions above by these lovely people. Your Origin should recognize the game if linked to your Steam and should run once you hit play, whether on Origin or on Steam. Thank you all for your suggestions! I reinstalled Origin and after i login i could see the game in my library with a Steam banner. Then: Have fun with the game :)Īfter linking Steam and Origin i could not launch Sims 4 because i got asked for a key. Then wait click on the game which was added and wait a few seconds. I found it in my Steam Bib (where you have the game installed) -> steamapps -> common -> The Sims 4 -> Game -> Bin So, click on the upper list on 'games' -> 'add non- ea game' and then you can look for the exe file from The Sims 4. Sorry if the translation is off, but I use the German client and try to translate the buttons.
